Did others see the tv program with Wayne Carini, (a TV "car guy") and the Volvo 960 he bought? It was first owned by actor Paul Newman built for him by Volvo. He (Newman) had a Ford V8 put in by Volvo, I believe a high performance 302 small block with turbo and stick shift. Shows Carini driving it and apparently it 'hauls a**'.

No real point to this post, just peaked my interest and felt like sharing.
