Temp Gauge Problem - Aftermarket Replacement? 900

Hi Folks,

I've got the 940 gauge cluster temp gauge problem. That is, the temp gauge does not function, nor does the gas gauge.

I just resoldered all the connections on the circuit board, installed the cluster and still no temp reading... When power is turned on the needle of the gauge moves a tiny bit, just enough to lift off the pin,but that's it.

I've tested the sender and it is OK.
If it's not the sender and the resoldering the circuit boards doesn't fix it, then what am I left with?

Is there an aftermarket temp gauge that works with the stock Bosch temp sender? Has anybody installed a remote temp gauge in their 940?

I'm thinking I'd rather install a new gauge then find another non-working gauge cluster.

Oh, and the gas gauge doesn't read right yet either. Shows 1/2 tank when I know there is more fuel in there... So that could be a sender problem. :/

Thanks for any info.

Bert
