(M41)- Hard shifts into 1 and 2 once warm 120-130

Been driving the Volvo more as the weather warms up. Shifts like butter when you first start it up. After 5-8 miles once everything is nice and warm, shifting from neutral into 1 or 2 from a stop becomes very difficult. It'll go into gear, just takes a substantial effort. Shifts into 3 and 4 once underway seem about normal, and the overdrive operates as expected. Did a fluid change today hoping for an easy fix, but it appears to be doing the same thing still. Any thoughts?
