A/C clutch : anything I'm missing?

Before I take the plunge and replace the A/C clutch on my 745T, I wanted to make sure there's nothing I may be missing.

The compressor won't kick over. I tried jumping the low pressure switch as well as jumping it straight from the battery. I tested the ground as well. With the switch on, I've got 13.5 volts at the connector (green wire on back of compressor), and the ohm meter shows no resistance between the positive lead and chassis ground.

The reason I'm hesitant is that it was working beautifully until a friend with very large feet kicked loose the wires for the blower where thy meet the connector underneath the glove box. It remained discombobulated under there for a few weeks until I got around to repairing the connection, and when I finally got it back together, I had the blower but no A/C.

Coincidence, or....????
