Clutch Slave Cylinder 120-130 1968

Hello All,

After a brutal winter I am getting the 120 back out on the road. I fould the clutch slave cylinder diaphragm had failed. I know this time it was due to the car sitting since October, but this is the 3rd time I've had to replace it. I chose not to buy from ipd, and went with my local lod school parts shop.

The only thing is- it doesn't come with a boot, or a diaphragm. Buy diaphragm I mean rubber seal on the back of the slave cylinder before the boot. Is this normal? I used an old boot I had in the trunk, installed the thing, and now I can't get pressure. There seems to be a leak at the front of the slave cylinder where the hose meets the front if the cylinder, and above at the junction for the hose. Hoses were replaced last fall. Everything is as tight as can be.

I've never had a problem on install, I am wondering if my clutch slave cylinder is defective.

Thanks in advance!
