Thanks to both of you for the quick response. This helped me see the error of my ways. Now I just need to put the belts back on and tighten everything back up. I will also remember from this post and a previous post to leave the adjustment screw on the tensioner in not such a tight state.

Looking forward to seeing my new water pump operate and not leak and also to see things all lined up with the new poly bushings. Was able to remove some of the oil gunk off of the engine and I like that nice red color on the engine. Will do more cleaning in the future.
