aw-70 swap. 245 200 1989

after 345k, time to renew the trans. have gone past any flush/adjustment cure.
the reverse has been problematic since 2004 and now it's none existent limiting my travels to "pull throughs" only, no backing to be had.
fwd gears are hit or miss with 2-3 winding to way near 50 and the feeling of slipping now as i climb hills. aw70 toast without butter i feel. nice red butter, no brown butter to be seen. ( on dipstick)

anyway, other than the faq here, any other sources of info on swap out. couple of sources for used aw70's here in AK.

little things like, ramps or 4 jack stands? will that get me height to do this?
will i need transmission jack? anything else i should replace while trans out? ( 200k on driveline bearings)any parts to have on hand? etc ad infinitum.

i.e. any tips i can use from those pros at this will be appreciated.
no bentley bible sadly.

up to 50 here in AK. t shirt summer projects in driveway time.

tanx
