Epilogue .... fault Tracing 245 Tailgate wiring 200 1989

So I just performed the worlds most scientifically UN-controlled experiment....

I implemented all of your tips & suggestions at the same time, so I have no idea which was "The Solution". HeHeHe.....

see previous post:

http://www.brickboard.com/RWD/volvo/1591445/220/240/260/280/part_2_fault_tracing_93_245_taillight_wiring.html

Once again I have completely functional tail lights, brake lights, 3rd brake light, rear fog lights, turn signals, license plate lights and rear wipers AND cruise control.

What I don't have is back-up lights because (as jorell called it) that wiring harness insulation has completely disintegrated from the switch on top-o-the-tranny back to the point where it tucks up inside the top-o-the-tunnel. That's a project for another day.

I prolly didn't need to replace the Bulb Failure Relay, but now I have an 1989 spare. ;-) and Why Not?

Many Thanks To All,

John

ps- stay tuned for the exciting upcoming episode of headlight dip-switch baffles dip-sh_t owner. hahaha
