Compression Battery Terminals

I'm not certain what a compression terminal is... is it the kind with a spring that squeezes the battery post (use pliers to release) or is it one needing compression fitting at the wire ends as opposed to the typical clamp held by screws, or crimp sleeve like OE?

Anyhow, the book says the starter cable is 25 square millimeters, somewhere between 3 and 4 AWG. http://www.engineeringtoolbox.com/awg-wire-gauge-d_731.html

I think a Mitsubishi I had long ago had one of those spring release clamps on the negative post. It was not a problem.
