1996 Volvo 960 Wagon 900 1996

I got in the car tonight to drive home, and after driving about 100 yards I pressed on the brake pedal and heard a loud air leak sound coming from under the dash where the brake pedal is located. It continues to hiss as long as I press on the pedal.

I have been driving cars for more than 30 years and I have never heard this before. I checked the brake fluid and it was good. I have not done any brake work in over a year or more.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
