ATF leak location and rubber cooling line? 200 1990

ATF is leaking from somewhere. Any tips of figuring out exactly where?
And is there any reason NOT to replace the transmission cooling lines with rubber fuel line? I’ve already spliced in small sections of rubber where they connect to the bell housing.
