Died on road

I was driving my 93 non-turbo 940 with cruise control engaged and was going down the road at 65 mph. Suddenly it began to decelerate. I disengaged cruise and the gas peddle would not respond when I pumped or floored it.
The car died and I coasted to a stop. When I tried to start it I had spark but no fuel.
I can hear the fuel pump engage when I turn the key on.
All happened suddenly with no indication of a problem earlier as I had just driven 200 miles.
I am thinking fuel pump relay.
Any suggestions??
Thanks for any help you could provide
