re: 87 245 auto - patched up rust area/UPDATE 200 1987

Hi all,

It turns out, the rust spots was only surface deep. I opened the hatch panel cover from the inside and was clean with no rust or moisture. I did removed the chrome trim but it looks like it wasn't necessary. I just had to flip the outer rubber trim high enough to clean and slide a paint brush. It rained about three hours after I put POR-15. You can see the water marks. I will probably put few more coats. Thank you.
