91 240 exhaust install problems 200

Didn't have time to install the cat back Starla/fcp exhaust, so I took it to a local shop who proceeded to fail to seal anything with clamps, after I paid to have the joints welded - my 16 year-old daughter is going to drive the thing. I put the last three systems on this one owner brick myself.... should have done this one.

They did the welds after I took it back today and it is sealed..... but now they worry me a little.

So - how close should the pipe be to the gas tank? I don't remember how it was and can't find pics, but the new install is 5/8" from the tank or so at the closest, on the side as it wraps around the tank toward the rear muffler.

Is this ok?
