Change out Hall Distributor for Bosch? 200 1983

have an 83 245 with a Hall distributor (white cap). The distributor is noisy in the car and somewhat problematic for me. I would like to replace with a Bosch unit.

I have a spare distributor off both an 88 and a 90; will either or both of these work on my car? One of the spare distributors has a wire connector to receive a connection from the engine harness I gather; the other does not. In looking at my 83, there is a black wire which comes into the side of the distributor, but not the same type of connector as the Bosch distributor I have woudl receive.

Appreciate any advice anyone has on changing the distributor out and if it is even possible.

Thank you
