hi sages- been reading the long thread on the difficulty of relacing a leaking fuel line on the 240. seems like its right up there with the legendary 240 blower motor replacement which as been rated a full 5F job here. #1- is the subject fuel line still the easy to crapout nylon type in the late 240s. mine is a 92. no problem yet but trying to anticipate and get educated for when it does to avoid going to the cleaners(dealer). #2- couldnt standard fuel injection hose or f/i hose with the inner lining of hard plastic be retrofitted with regular clamps or the chamfered volvo oe clamps? i must be missing something. thanks tons oldduke ps- dorothy told toto were not in kansas anymore. uncle moe told me were not working on slantsixes anymore.
