Converting my 1983 242 TI to a manual (m46) 200 1983

So, I'm going to do this. Sadly I had a beautiful 85 245 TI with a manual that was totaled by a careless Lexus driver. Uhh, well I saved everthing from that car and I was going to use that transmission. That car did have the stepped flywheel as well as the redish overdrive relay. I was going to use the flat flywheel as well as wireing from a 84 244ti which ran the blue relay. is there a difference in the transmission that would require me to use the red relay or or the stepped flywheel with the 1985 245 ti transmission? Thanks, Nick.
