remove deployed passenger airbag 900

i've been driving around in my 940 with spent airbags. the bags I cut out, but the dash is still cracked open. replacing the bags is too expensive. I'd like to remove the airbag unit, take off the dash cover, and find a way to make the dash look less gnarly.

does anybody know how I access the bolts that hold the passenger side airbag in? I can't seem to find a way to remove the glove box to access them. thanks
