Catalytic converter substitution 700

Hi,

I am looking for any experiences with installing an after marker CAT that is unspecific about using it on an engine w/EGR.

The root issue I want to clarify is: Whether a CAT that is unspecific about EGR will give acceptable performance with an EGR engine?

Magnaflow and Walker are 2 'reputable' aftermarket suppliers of CATs, but neither is able to demystify the w/EGR or wo/EGR questions. And nor is FCP, although they do distinguish now. I have read older posts where some of the CATs FCP sold previously (e.g.: BO 099-942) were problematic to install (shorter on overall length) to buyers with EGR engines.

Thanks, ...AndréD
