Help finding Service label on 1990 740 GL wagon 700 1990

Hi,

I'm a new owner of a 1990 740GL wagon and want to learn more about my car. I just looked for the service plate which should give info on different components & equipment but I couldn't find it.

Thought it was on the door, then checked more closely on this diagram - http://www.volvoclub.org.uk/tech/PlateLocation.pdf and thought it should be on the firewall in the engine compartment, but could not see it there either.

Can someone help me find it?
