Yes you are correct about what those left hand threads can also do to ones mind, let alone what their real intention was.

I think it was also reengineered, excuse me, some second thoughts used, to explain that when "each stud" was not rotating around its own axis, the force to loosen them, probably was not there.

Interesting that you mentioned passing on your knowledge to the newbies.
