Turbo issue cleared 700 1989

This is what the pressure line going to the wastegate actuator looks like when its worn out. (#5 on the picture below) The entire hose is about six inches long. Note the tear which was impossible to see without removing the hose. Also note, I think this hose is supposed to be fiber reinforced. The one shown here is not likely to be stock. Changing it out included removing intake hoses but otherwise was pretty simple.

The symptoms included sudden power loss during turbo acceleration. I would have to pull over and shut the car down to get it running good again. I'm think that lets the hose relax back to its original shape which it will hold again until the next big turbo push.
