One second squeal when transmission shifts 1st to 2nd gear 900 1993

My 93' 940 transmission has 222K miles on it and has Mobil 1 ATF oil in it.

The AW70-L transmission squeals briefly shifting from 1st to 2nd gear when cold and is okay when warmed up for a few miles.

The Mobil 1 ATF is new and previously I drove it a few miles with cheap dino ATF fluid to clean it out and then did a complete flush per the FAQs here.

Is there an adjustment fix with the kickdown cable or is the transmission just needing an overhaul/replacement?
