My Amazing 244

I've installed the Stromberg CD carb and manifold sourced from a Canada car on a couple of 240's. They may be hard to come by now. On the first one I installed a mechanical fuel pump (the intermediate shaft had the pump drive lobe) sourced from a marine supplier (reasonable $40 at the time)--I still have one. On the second I eliminated the main pump but utilized the in-tank pump. I put a "T" fitting just before the carb and routed the excess to the car's return system. Worked great - never flooded--always had fuel right there for starting after long layovers. -- Dave
