Funny I have not been here for a while and was just re-reading these posts. In April of 2012 I did find exactly what I wanted and more! Was contacted by a guy here on brickboard who saw my post. I got an original owner White wagon with blue cloth interior which was immaculate AND a manual trans. 110k original miles. Air conditioning converted that works amazing! All this for 3k and a one way plane ticket to DC to pick it up and drive it back to Wisconsin! I guess the joke wasn't on me afterall. My Volvo mechanic could not believe it when he saw it and congratulated me on a successful purchase! I'm still stoked about it and loving the car!!! :)
