what is this component??? (1987 760 ti) 700

need to know what this component is and where both of its rather large vacuum lines plug in. There is a tee connection that I think goes where it is in the picture, but then there is a connection that goes to a diaphragm on it and I have no idea where that was connecting to or from? I had to unplug everything that was in my way when I was replacing the engine harness and cant figure out what this component is even for, there are no brake lines coming to it so its not ABS as far as I know.
