87 240 stalled out, now no start. 200

Hi all, I have a 1987 240 wagon with m47 tranny and 366k miles. Yesterday she stalled out in traffic, wouldn't crank at all, battery dead. The battery was overdue for replacement so I put in a fresh battery today, hoping that was it. Now she cranks well, has spark at the plugs, but wont start. I've checked all the usual suspects I can think of:
the 25a fuse near the battery is good
the fuel pump clicks when key in position II
when i jumper fuses 4 and 6 i can hear the main pump going
when I try to start her up with fuses 4 and 6 jumpered, still no start.
Seems to be a fuel issue that overlapped with a battery/charging issue? Whats my next move?
Thanks a bunch, you guys have saved me more $$ than I can count.

Colin
