Gauge cluster -- wiper mechanism removal

Months ago I've been able to buy a primo gauge cluster on eBay which I want to install into my PV544. I know it's an ugly job, and I've been procrastinating 'til today.

I've got the driver's seat out, the steering wheel off, took out the radio and the glovebox insert, removed the speedometer cable, removed the two 13mm bolts that hold the instrument cluster itself in, and was able to wiggle it enough to go back . . . but from here it's a no-go because the wiper motor is in the way.

I want to remove the entire windshield wiper mechanism. I took off the wiper blades, the big nuts that hold the pivots in position, but I can't figure out what I have to remove underneath the dash to slide the thing out of the way. Can you guys please give me a hint on how to proceed from here?

Thanks,

Bernard
