Volvo spark plug with resistor - okay in an older 240? 200 1984

Normally I use Bosch copper spark plugs in my 240 but this time I ordered some OEM spark plug from FCP Groton. The package says resistor and indicates that it's for the B230 engine from 1988 onwards. Will these plugs work fine in my B23, and will the resistors cause an issue? The car started up immediately after installing them and idled smoothly. Will the resistor'd plugs cause an issue with the coil?
