cam oil seal

Isnt the hole there to keep the oil seal lubed.

If its leaking from the inside of the oil seal you could always unpick the little spring from a new seal and get a magnifying glass and un twirl it at the join, cut a bit of the spring off dont cut the pointed end. Re twirl it together and put it back on the seal and install it. That way it will keep it tighter against the camshaft.
