gear shift thread size (all years) 444-544

I am toying with the idea of making a wooden gear shift for the 544 model, and I want to thread the inside of the knob to match that of the thread on the gear shift itself.

If I owned one myself I could find out, but I don't own one. And my friend who DOES own one, doesn't want to take his gear shift knob off.

Does anyone know what the size is?

Is it the same on the 122?

Thanks! Hopefully it's easy to figure out, and I can make the wooden gear shifts easily.
