refurbed the brakes 200 1989

Finally did what I’ve been putting off a long time.
After all the brakes did work, but----. OK, installed all new brake pads, new rotors, new (rebuilt) calipers, new master cylinder and replaced the 6 short lines to the calipers with flexible stainless steel lines. The old discs looked even "more bad” when seeing them off the car, the calipers didn’t look that great either. The old brake pads were just about ready to be replaced anyway.

It just feels much better to have the brake system “refurbished“. I was going to scrap out the old rotors, but wife made use of the old discs, inverted them and made them into planters for her many plants, she has the ol' “green thumb” for sure. She might have been able to do something with the old calipers, but I had to return them for the core charge refund.
