240 1988 Dash Instrument wire connections 200

Hi,

All I wanted to do was to replace that tiny plastic gear in my daughters 1988 Volvo 244 so she could keep from running out of gas...because the gas gauge stopped working years ago. So I pulled the dash, followed the detailed directions on the internet to get to the gear, replaced it. Installed back in the car and now not only does the odometer not work but nothing, save the idiot lights on the instrument panel, work. I have taken about 5 steps backwards. I am pretty sure it has to do with two wires that I am at a loss at where to reconnect them on the back of the dash. About 5 of the connections are obvious. 2 are not. I have looked up and down google Images to see if I could find the back of a similar era 240 panel but I have not found any that are either the correct year or showing the wires. What I am hoping to do is to include 2 pictures in this message.
One shows the two plugs that I cannot find receptacles for on the back of the dash and one that shows the back of my dash. I will circle the 'inputs' on the dash panel that I have attached wires to.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Thanks,
Jim Lee
