Timing belt upper cover 200 1993

Hello - just trying to get an experienced answer. The upper timing belt cover on my 93 240 wagon disintegrated, luckily I caught it in time. It was rattling and when I removed it, it literally came apart. The center supports were already broken and was only being held on by the screw at the top.

I have the replacement cover, but I can't seem to wrangle it into place. Is it possible to install it with out removing the fan or other belts?
