Road Trip 2015 120-130 1967

So we are sitting around at the end of a long day and I say ' We should take the little Volvo ('67 220 ) on a road trip next summer.' Mary is all over that. Her comment is 'What can you do to make it quieter? On a long trip that would make a big difference.' I can tell she is California dreaming.

The rear hatch looks like it does not close all the way, there is a fair amount of wind noise, and there is a lot of engine noise, intake honk, etc.

What are effective things to do to cut down on the noise in these cars ? Did I mention that a lot of the speed limits in Wyoming and Montana are 75 to 80 mph ? And that is the two lane roads...

Thanks

Greg
