My rear hatch light is working fine when I manually operate the pushbutton in the strike plate. What I cannot figure out is how the latching mechanism actuates the push button so my light comes on when I open the hatch and goes off ( ya think?) when I close the hatch. Doesn't seem to be anything in place to "push the button". What's up?
