automatic? 120-130

Is that a auto gear seletor that I see on your steering column? I didn't know that PV came automatic. So that's one thing I learned. Also, I use a lot of anti seize, when I say a lot I mean often not copiously, I noticed that you did't. Any reason for that?

The butyl tape, did you apply it to the tank rather than the flange in the trunk for a reason? Seems like it would be easier to avoid touching it.

Have you ever considered a fuel filter of the type that can be dismantled and cleaned out? All the ones I've used and they are everywhere here, cars, lawn mowers, log splitter etc have what I believe is a pyrex type glass vial which does not
cloud up. I've paid $14 for one at an auto parts store and only $5 at WalMart. The Walmart ones have interchangeable fittings for different gas lines. They're on eBay too.
And finally, what was the rubber hose that was attached to the side of the tank as it was going in? A vent?
