Fluids, Fluids, Fluids... 700

I use premium.

How does your car adjust for knocking?

I have read that the first thing the computer does is increase the fuel - this cools the cylinders - changing the timing does not help because ignition is happening before spark already.

Besides the economics of fuel prices has changed - the price differences are a much smaller percentage of the cost of a gallon.

Older engines knock more readily then newer, cleaner ones.

I find that the difference in MPG is worth the price.

I also like to keep my engines happy!
