Oddly enough. 200 1988

the twisted together blue and black(with the red numbered sleeve) wire runs thru a grey sheath to the connectors (removed) then back into the grey sheath and down the hole to the pump. The other wires are from the sender/ pump. note the screwed down ground.
I have switched the polarity of the pump wires and get no gas either way.


Not to mention that the new sender doesn't seem to work.
