Tire Pressure 1800

My God! What have I started? I'm sorry. This is still a 40-year-old car. Not an F1 racer. With all the bumps it's been over, the aged components, the sags, the groans, the drips and odd noises, I simply can't imagine that micro-fiddling with tire pressure is going to make any noticeable difference.

However, as my self-esteem has now been completely destroyed, I will immediately go and set the tires to the recommneded pressures, try that for a while, and then try the two uniform settings that were initially recommended. If something magical happens, I'll return here with a plate of crow.
