I have been through the wringer with this car and may finally give up and sell it. Anyway, 2 1/2 years ago, I chased a stalling issue that took me longer than I care to admit to find. After pouring over the forums and trying everything you can name, my local Indy told me "check the BOV diaphragm. I did and sure as hell it had a 1/4 inch hole in it. I replaced it and, it ran fine... for about a year. Until one day the not so little missus calls me in a panic that the SOB stalled on her on the interstate. I found that problem much quicker, and it was a bad fuel inf. relay. It ran fine for about 6 more months, and now, again, it is stalling! I have never had more crap go wrong like this with my 240's.
Anyway, I replaced with known good parts from a running 240: the AMM, ICM, powerstage mod., fuel inj. relay, again. Turbo BOV, and it still stalls, mostly when hot and at startup. I drove it around, and this time, it ran fine, and idled a little low a few times at stops but, ran pretty good for the most part. I also know the TPS is adjusted right and, there are no vacuum leaks. I am at my wits end with this car, and everytime (of course, she isn't driving it now, with this "new" stalling issue) the 'ol battleaxe drives it, I am just waiting for the phone to ring telling me it stalled out again. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The plugs are also new.
