So my 240 has had a lot of problems recently.
However, it's always, for the two years I've had it, had this one problem. At first it was pretty spaced out. It would happen once a day, maybe a handful of times a week, but now it's doing it every time I drive.

The problem is it starts sputtering (at any speed) and the car loses acceleration. If you try to press down on the pedal at all it just sputters. At slow speeds it sometimes just dies.

However, if I put the car in neutral and restart it, the problem is solved, for about ten minutes.

We tried a lot of things. We replaced the distributor like five times, the in-tank pump.. The alternator went not too long ago.. don't know how related that would be..

Anyway, I start school tomorrow and it'd be great if this was some easy miracle fix. (not holding my breath)
