Yes I believe so as well. (also knocking on wood!)
replaced the vacuum line and also replaced the gas cap for a good measure. It was just another aftermarket cap as well, so unfortunately I did not get the OEM volvo cap with this car purchase. Oh well...
anyways, drove around for probably 50-60 miles today running errands and such, and didnt have the slightest smell of fuel.


Thank you to everyone who pitched in and guided me through this issue. This board and the incredibly kind people who are a part of it really show there is some hope left for humanity! You're selfless and helpful ways do not go unappreciated.
