I got bored

For my own edification, I found the third factor in cat design. It is the flange design on the header pipe side of the cat. The options are spin flange and fixed flange.

Here is a good thread.

The rule is buy the cat with the flange that matches your header.

Maybe there are all possible combinations of

EGR/nonEGR, O2 Sensor/Non O2 sensor, Spin flange/Fixed flange

So 2 times 2 times 2 is 8
