Dropping the Ball... 120-130 1967

probably something else ....26k on a ball joint is nothing...UNLESS you did not grease them during the install! Some ball joints tie rod ends etc come dry in the box and need to be greased before installing and if you are in a rush or using a grease monkey of no repute they can be installed dry....steering box and idler arm will also knock if worn/loose and the steering box likes to work it's big attachment bolts loose in the "frame" by bending the frame walls.
