240 volvo won't start 200 1991

PLEASE HELP !!! About a year ago I drove my '91 Volvo 240 onto my driveway and parked it. I haven't driven it since, which I know I should not have done. About a month ago I decided to sell it and with the help of my son, we tried to get it ready, but it wouldn't start. My son has tried everything he can think of: checked all fuses & connections, replaced the fuel filter, the rear fuel pump, the fuel pressure regulator and the crankshaft position sensor. Now it will start, but won't stay running. I was hoping that someone has experienced that same problem and can give me some suggestions as to what the problem might be. It was running fine before I parked it and seems like the problem has to do with it siting for a long time without being driven. Thanks in advance for any suggestions. Arcina
