240 volvo won't start 200 1991

check the rpm sensor or the hall sensor ( depends on what is on the engine)
I believe this is a Regina ignition system?
Start at the coil check for proper resistance.
plugs, wires and dist. cap /rotor ok?
check voltages at the FICU - 12v at the power stage blue wire (from coil)
wiring diagrams are available at www.volvotips.com
also check out the FAQ's on this site. lotsa info contained therein.
keep the battery charged too.
post back when you get results.
