Dash trim removal 900 1992

How do you remove the chrome and black trim that sits under the air vents and above the switches. This trim is about 5 mm wide i cant find reference to it in the FAQ section. I want to remove my gauge cluster.The FAQ section mentions the procedure for the the later model 960 that don't have this trim piece. My car is a 92 960.
