Hot start issue 700 1990

No I did not apply 12 volts - I should do that next.

It seems that my problem was the Air Mass Meter - having replaced it a few years back I was neglecting to consider it - but it was a rebuild air mass meter and it had done 40,000 miles - so there you go. I am using one of the far less expensive air mass meters from eBay - so far it works and the problem was gone instantly. I should have known - the symptoms were nearly classic.

But I am left now with one last fuel/ignition problem and I have posted a new thread - and it does relate to the idle control valve.
