Oh wow... I've been off-board for several months attending to personal issues. This news comes as a big shock to me. Walrus was a pillar of the BB community. My Amazon Wagon evens sports a front timing cover that he machined for me for a very reasonable fee back in late 2005.

After years of receiving his advice on the BB forum, I had the brief opportunity to meet him in 2012 at VCOA Meet in St. Louis. I doubt he and I would have agreed much on too much aside from Volvos, but I had a lot of respect for his wisdom and experience with these cars.

George's insight and nearly inexhaustible patience will be sorely missed. I'm sorry that I'm so late to learn the news.
